touareg vs x3

need some help, in the market for a smaller suv..

04-05ish v6 tourareg or 05 x3... both fully loaded, any opinions on these vehicles? they are about the same in price. anybody have real world experience?

The flux modulator is known for going out on the Tourareg and can be expensive to fix, find one that has already had a new one installed.

what is a flux modulator is it like the flux capacitor or is it real and your just saying maintainance is expensive.

Last front brake job i did on a toureg was $800 for pads and rotors and really are not that nice for upkeep and cost

You have to buy the pads and rotors at the dealer and they require new brake warning sensors also

To be fair, most, if not all, bimmers do too

I know that but the bmw is cheaper in most cases compared to the vw
