Hey Kyle,
Yeah, these marauders tend to eat axles if they were still the originals. Both of my Marauders have had to have their axles replaced.
The current marauder just developed a crappy axle seal leak after my son took it to Ohio and back last week. I knew they were bad when I had them checked as we put the 3.55 gears back into it. The cheapest solution I've found was to order the TSB axle kit from tascaparts.com

This kit has both axles, bearings and seals. You may find a better deal if you have an in with a local ford dealership up in the cities, but down here, they wanted retail. I have also been told that the aftermarket Dorman replacements do not fit because there is some difference between the Marauder axle and the normal crown vic / grand marquis version. It is what it is.
