I am about to jump ship to sprint or ATT. I am with virgin right now. Their service call wise has been excellent but the phone is REALLY lacking (cant even play angry birds on it!)

The phone (Nexus S)is completely free if you sign up at best buy for a 2 year contract. I am extremely tempted to do this but having NOT been on a contract for so long has been REALLY nice. Does Anyone have this phone? I was also looking at the EVO 3D that there was another thread about. Also Sprint's Service call and text and data wise compared to ATT? I have a discount with my company for 25% off sprint 22 off ATT 20 off Verizon.

Thoughts? I am really in the market for anything nice. ORRRR do I just wait a few more months and get something else?

Its just to prove a point about HOW slow my phone is. After about 3-400 texts it starts slowing down

Thats what I have been hearing... I for some reason like the cameras on the EVOs a bit more cause I like to take pictures here and there. Do you have one of these? Also the 3D phone looks on paper to have a better processor 1.2gb dual core vs a 1gb single for the nexus?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S which is similar to the Nexus S. It's a great phone, I'm in no hurry to replace it and I've had it for over a year now. Camera is quite good, it's fast, the screen is awesome, battery life isn't that bad. Are there better phones out there? Sure, but for the price you can't beat it.

i don't care for sprint coverage.

don't buy into the 8 megapixel evo camera deal. yes it has 8mp's. 8mp's of shittiness. picture quality is not that great, iphones take much better pics. i like the android platform better but i like the iphones much better as far as the screen, lighting, size/feel, camera. if i view my phone in a dim area like a bar, it'll light up the whole damn room, it is not a soft light. turning brightness down doesn't really do the trick either.

Are you with sprint? Thank you for a good post, Ok I will not buy into the camera part of it. I was looking at the 3D one.. I like snapping pics casually and just need something to do the job so I dont have to lug a separate camera around...
