I bought this Pile of shit from best buy about 2 months ago.



I didnt open it for 2 weeks. It worked for approx. 6 days. I was about to set a restore point, but it BSOD'd before I got a chance. Took it back, and BB wants me to ship it in, because it was later than 15 days.

If it doesnt blue screen, it sits on this screen for days. Early on, it asked to boot in safe mode, last known config, but I havent had that option for a while now.



I also ordered a 2 Gb stick to upgrade, but apparently windows starter will not recognize more than 1 Gb.

So does anyone have a windows 7 copy or XP on a USB key? I know you can "upgrade" the OS without paying full price, but I dont think it will come on a USB key.

Well I swapped in the 2 gb ram, and magically the system was able to be restored...and as a bonus, the OS recognizes it.

Asus is the only way to rock a netbook, this was the same brand as the laptop Joem recommended
