Yuk.
This won't help AT&T speed up their rollout at all. AT&T is going LTE, T-Mobile was continuing down the path of HSPA+.You stay classy Chet Beireis

They've been rolling out HSPA+, but it's not compatible. They're on completely different spectrums. That's why there is no "3g" if you use an iphone on t-mobile's network. You stay classy Chet Beireis

12 months before the deal goes down, if the DoJ and the FCC approvesOriginally posted by Scotty07 View PostWe just dropped these asshats and switched to T-mobile. Fuck.
Dear Government, eventually the people with money will tell you to fuck off, and stop paying for those that don't work

They just said if this does go through att will have to replace all tmobile customers phones to work on the network, my question is why not keept the tmobile network and dump the att network as it sucks cock. I guess ill be moving to another company when and if this goes down, I swore years ago to never have any dealings with att ever again.Buying muscle/sports cars/regular cars/trucks, send me info, I pay cash or credit card if that makes you feel better!

Taken from Engadget. I read that earlier."In other news, service and billing won't be changing, and there's a promise that T-Mobile devices will continue to operate as they do now even after the acquisition is complete. Ominously, however, the company fails to answer its own question about pricing changes, stating only that it'll honor "all contracted plans that are entered into before the change of ownership."Scuffin’ up your Nikes! Because AT&T has ~ 90million users, TMo has 1/3 of that.Originally posted by CAMSS30 View PostThey just said if this does go through att will have to replace all tmobile customers phones to work on the network, my question is why not keept the tmobile network and dump the att network as it sucks cock. Sucks about having to get a new phone, I know that's down the road quite a bit but still

http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/28/shocker-sprint-officially-opposes-atandts-proposed-acquisition-o/Yes, you read that right. Sprint is actually going out on a limb and officially opposing AT&T's proposed acquisition of T-Mobile USA. Apparently, it thinks that the transaction would "reduce competition and harm consumers" if it's allowed to go through, and it's vowing to "fight this attempt by AT&T to undo the progress of the past 25 years and create a new Ma Bell duopoly." It further goes on to note that the combined company would be almost three times the size of Sprint in terms of wireless revenue, and that it and Verizon would "overwhelmingly dominate" the US wireless industry and have "unprecedented control" over the post-paid market. Full press release is after the break.
