In consideration of our decaying society and the fact the Chinese may become the next superpower, in my spare time I've been trying to decipher what the hell Chinese symbols mean. I have a friend who is from China, and I recently noticed his status update was: 個測試連笞案都宗寫錯, 學咩人教英文吖.
Being that I have no idea what anything means because I have 0 time to devote to it, I immediately put it into google translator and it spit out: "Have a test case with bamboo cane were wrong, people learn to teach English acridine baa." He later wrote in response to some sort of Chinese 妤呀, 快D返嚟吖, 等你...which apparently means "Yu ah, fast D back Li acridine, waiting for you." Every time I put something into a Chinese translator, it doesn't make sense. Is it just impossible to translate Chinese with some sort of translator, or do Chinese people just not understand what they are writing themselves?
