So how bad do you think it will be? Will St. Paul airport be underwater for a month, will you be helping sandbag Fargo, signing up for flood insurance?
Spring flooding?

You can't even really make a prediction right now. I don't think it will be bad at all down here, unless heavy rains are responsible for rapid melting.Originally posted by SS1LE02 View PostSo how bad do you think it will be? Good potential for epic flooding. But, don't worry, the government will bail out (no pun intended) those in the Red River Valley....again.Originally posted by SS1LE02 View PostSo how bad do you think it will be? Declare an Emergency for 6 counties, push forth a grant to assist those that 'Lost Everything' like they did last year, get thousands of man-hours of assistance from non-resident volunteers and MN national Guard, send news reporters into a week-long orgasmic frenzy as they measure the water depth every 5 minutes awaiting a new record
Dear Government, eventually the people with money will tell you to fuck off, and stop paying for those that don't work

That's like the grand forks fargo area.. let's live in a valley of a flood plain.. no sympathy for stupidity. my old farm used to flood all the time, it's where 241 and 94, where SA and the Theatre are now. they built up the land a good 30-40' and it's still damn close to flooding. I remember the spring time when the dead river would start flowing and the water would start coming up it's a rush when the waters coming up but gets old when your house is encased in water day and night. I remember putting up sticks watching the water go up 1-2' every couple of hours.Originally posted by Brownman View PostWhy do people stay in places they know are going to get fucked?
Wouldn't that be like a homophobe running around with his ass out and a sign saying enter here on his back at a gay fuck club?
I don't get it, I would move.
