Used Firearms Dealers

Anybody know of a good used firearms dealer? I'm looking to pick up a nice carrying handgun for when I turn 21. Something like a Glock or a Sig-Sauer preferably. Looking at the .40 and .45 caliber area

I am going to have a high budget for a used gun too, so no $300 Gander Mountain specials

go to a gun show. there is plenty of used guns there, with plenty of great deals.


Gun shows are pretty much every weekend if you look hard enough for them. Ie different ends of the metro and such.

That should help for sure! I was kind of hoping to find some places where I can look at approxmate values of what guns go for used at a dealer so I can know what a good deal would be on what I'm looking for too.

gun shows. they're usually willing to barter a little bit there. More so then at a store.


I think last time I went to one I bought 2 ar15 uppers, and some ammo from the same guy, so he covered the tax on it.

Well, I'm not bragging, I would just rather buy a used GOOD gun than a brand new shitty gun. My Dad's Glock, and my Uncle's Glocks have never died on them, and I've heard from a lot of Army and Navy guys that Sigs are amazing handguns that are still just as good used as new...only difference is when you buy it new, you pay for the idea that it's new

But I know Gander Mountain has some really nice guns, most of their Glocks are in the $600 range as it is, and the Sigs I was looking at were about $800 or $900. They even had a S&W or Colt or something that was like $3,000 for a revolver lol.

To be fully honest, I've carried my Dad's Glock 23? on me when I've worked at his shop alone before, and that is an amazing side arm to carry. Perfect fit in my hand and everything, not super heavy either, I just don't want to copy him. I was planning on going to a gun range pretty soon anyways and trying out at least half a dozen handguns. The U of M college republicans have a deal with a gun range in Burnsville I believe where we can go there and shoot a shitload of different guns for like 6 hours for $20...I'm jumping on that deal.
