    I disagree.

Yeah Carfox jumped their prices up, and now no one wants to help a brotha out.

It is pretty hardcore. When I was looking, I almost shit my pants. It used to be 35 for unlimited for a month, now it is 30 for 1 and 50 for 5 or something like that. I guess it got abused or something. It does suck

They just got greedy is all. I notice a lot of small dealers just throw up the VIN for you to check yourself. I called on one vehicle and asked by chance if he did have access to run a Carfax (figuring he didn't, but I asked anyways), and he said no that's why he put the VIN out there for anyone to check themselves, and that he'd have to pay $400/mo to keep a Carfax

People ask me and I say we don't run them on cars under $6000.00, and offer the vin to them.

The prices probably went up because people were giving the shit away to brkfgts on internet forums.

That would never happen. This is first time in history anybody has ever asked for a carfax online and I certainly have not done it myself. I also do not care for your accusations, good sir.

Pretty sure it has something to do with the idiots selling car fax on CL for $5 a crack.

Car fax and autocheck are ridiculously expensive if you're a dealer.

I remember when I signed up for the month a couple of years ago and I was running carfaxes like the pied piper of TCS.

Hell, I was even busting scammers with salvage titles on ebay.

That's what I was being told. The free Auto Check for a little while sure was nice.
