Make the time slots and post it here. Then bring a copy on a whiteboard the day of.

If people aren't checking in here, it's their own fault. They also wouldn't know that the start time changed. You're already posting all the information here. If they're too stupid to check in, it's their own fault. Hell, you could've canceled the entire dyno day. I doubt you'd be calling everyone on the list... you'd be posting here...

dyno day october 16th at Maperformance in Plymouth, MN. pulls start at 10am and will run into the 6pm anyone is welcome. $50 Cash for 3 pulls. No diesels will not be able to run as it is too much work to switch over the dyno.

If people dont show on time, they get thrown to the back. The last few dyno days I set up, that is how we did it. Those few got butthurt, but they had noone to blame for not showing for their timeslot but themselves.

Then why wouldn't what I say work? Those that want to show up right at the designated time suck. Things happen on the dyno ... car get off after one pull cause the A/F, cars stay on too long to cool it down. From my experiences it works best to do them as they show up.

yes the clipboard has worked. i threw a list together for when people want to go. it doesn't have to be follows specifically say if someone is not there but its a guide. and if you're not there and the next guy is ready then on we go.

It would work, but if no one had a slot to shoot for, how would you know that there wont be 9 people waiting when the organizer shows up all expecting to be the first in and first out That is where the problem was. We would shoot for necessary first in first outs and go from there. For some reason there was always a problem anyway.

You will never have a happy medium, there will always be a problem with the plan no matter how it is exicuted. Kinda like being a Mod, no matter how fair you are, you are always an asshole in someones eyes

Because if you can't be there at 10, but you don't want to dyno at 6, you're pretty much fucked. Not a hard concept to figure out. If I have to drive an hour to find out I have to wait 3 hours, it sort of defeats the purpose.
