Testing the Waters for Car Photos

Hey, I was just wondering what peoples' initial reactions are to having their car photographed for use in a book. Would it be cool, annoying, etc? I'm just testing the water because I'm thinking about working on a project, but I'm not sure how hard it will be to get people/cars who are willing and able.

I would consider it, whether or not my car is good enough is altogther a different question.

I wouldn't worry about your car not being good enough. My project would be on Mustangs 1979-2004, both stock and modified (interior, exterior, engine, etc.). I'm kinda nervous though, it would be my first book-length endevor at the author level (I'm an editor). I think it might be kinda fun though, if most of the pictures were of TC Stangers, then people could look at it and see all the familiar (famous to us) local cars.
