Parents sue United Methodist Church for a "fight club"... at daycare! Only in the south.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Parents who put trust in a local church day care claim that their toddlers were forced to fight.

Now, they're suing the church and its employees.

Parents claim the alleged fights happened at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.

The parents of six children are seeking resolution alleging that the day care inside had turned into a fight club.

According to the lawsuit filed Friday, children as young as 3 were forced to play a game called "Ring of Fire," where they were taught to punch each other in the face, chest or stomach until one child cried.

In the lawsuit, their parents claim that their children had come home with bruises -- something other parents can't even imagine.

“It's terrifying. I don't know what I would do if something happened to my son,” said parent Amanda Tinsley.

“What kind of an example is that for the kids? And coming from a parent, it seems really upsetting to me,” said parent Heather Kelty.

The three employees at the center of the allegations are no longer employed by Central's Center for Children, but they are named in the lawsuit, along with the church and its administrator.

If I were a parent and that was one of my kids, I would play ring of fire with them. Except it would be them sleeping tied to their beds while I set the house on fire.

I think the ring of fire you so fondly remember from your childhood church experiences was a DIFFERENT game.
