I did a search on there and unless I'm a real tool, I don't find anything. I highly doubt any stores would carry a parts for trannys anyway but I was giving it a shot.

Youd be surprised, when we were up at brainerd napa had a full rebuild kit for a turbo400 that we used some parts out of to rebuild XJHEADs tranny with.
actually, I think I found it on their site. They call it an extension housing bushing. They look identical. I will just go to the warehouse tomorrow and see if they are the same and I'll be back in business.

The t-56 has a 27 spline mainshaft and the t5 is a 28. The bushing for the tailhousings appear to be similar in ID/OD though the t5 bushing is about 1.5" compared to the t-56 which is 1". Now I have not tried putting a bushing from one into the other so they could vary by a few thousandths. The length isn't really an issue as there is room in both tail housing for the longer bushing. I'm assuming they are the same bushing, save for length, due to the fact my test driveshaft yoke slides into both the exact same.
I'm glad this happened, as now I know where to get the bushings and tail housing seals easily if I need them Apparently t-56 rebuild kits (at least most of them) do not come with the bushing, which I found out a few hours ago, lol.
