Took out my engine and long story short its time for a different engine. Want to just stick with the roller cam engine. Basically just looking for a good rotating assembly.

Bored, honed, decked, line bore the mains, stroker clearanced, balance the rotating assembly, fit the pins... you're talking about $600-$800 depends on the work needed and shops very in quality and price.

Or you could get a standard bore kit, hand hone and clearance it yourself and just pay 200 or so to have it balanced. Just remember you get what you pay for and cutting corners on machine work on an engine is asking for trouble in my opinion.

If you're on a tight budget, re-ring and bearing your shortblock and put a better cam, intake, and some heads on it.

No, all the parts are brand new in the box. The block has already been all machined. and includes a arp studs and a main girdle

ok, I am too cheap for a stroker. Maybe if I had a classic Mustang or a better Fox

OK I have a complete 1987 5.0L out of my mustang I just rebuilt the heads up last fall maybe has 200 mile since. Ran great before being pulled, I have a video of it running. $500

what dont you have? So the heads are rebuilt but not the engine? I got a set of GT40 heads so I am not concerned about the heads and I have all the accessory stuff from my last engine.

I've actually been getting rid of alot of stuff I dont need. I've got 4 sbf's in my garage...only need 2...
anyways
I bent two valves so I got some different ones rebuilt and put on the motor.
While doing that it also got a new timing chain and water pump as well.

What does the video show?
Any shots of the oil pressure gauge while the engine is running? Od is just an engine in the car running in the engine bay?
