wtt or wtb mac or other dumps

want to trade my magnaflow cat back system because with the 2 in drop on the car the axle its hitting the tail pipes. trade for mac or other dumps if its a straight up trade i want mac 3 in dumps. other wise will trade plus cash for 2.5 in. also if you just have a set you want to get rid of let me know. this is for a 96 gt. want something of quality not a pile of garbage with 2 diffrent mufflers or what not.
also have bbk valve covers non polished i would trade to fit i think 96 to 98 then 01 on up

MAC H-Pipe & Mufflers

I have a nearly new 2.5" MAC Off-Road H-Pipe (#TF-9698 coated) and Cat Back (#TK-9635 dura-black coated) Mufflers that can have the tail section cut off and replaced with the dump size and angle you want. These were on a 1998 GT for less than 800 miles when it was rolled & totalled out. The right tail section is bent and needs straightening or made into Dumps. There are no tips and are perfect from the mufflers up. I would take $125 for the H-Pipe or the mufflers etc., or $225 for all of it. Let me know if you are interested in either or both.

This might be a stupid question. But can't you just cut the tailpipes off like 2 inches behind the mufflers and weld on dumps? Seems to me like that would be the cheapest/easiest way to go.

interesting lol na i did think of that but dont like the way the magnaflows pop or sound might like them better louder but dont want to take the chance.

thats what everyone says but i have no choice either raise the car up or im going to eventualy put a hole in the tail section of my pipes they already got a half inch dent where the axle hits now. thats y im thinking the 125 pair of macs make dumps out of them and if i like them sell the other exhaust if i dont then change something else

my buddy has 3" exhaust on his lowered fox. It was tight but it works. I'm sure plenty of exhaust shops could accommodate.

i know they could but i really dont mind the 40 series flowmaster dumps i have on my 67 with a big block cant be any worse then that. they might be 50 series tho cant remember

I've had 3" mac pro dumps and the mufflers I'm offering up are decently quiter.
I really liked my pro dumps, idk if I would have liked them on a DD tho.

probley not gonna be my dd but hows that system you got made is it just hacked to gether or is it a kit you got. i want something thats gonna fit like i bought it and doesnt need a bracket or two added. let me get some more specifics about it

there are meticulous shops that will make/fit you a perfect system. It's not that much especially in 2.5".
