Its a piggy back tuning computer. It can control timing, fuel, idle control. It can also use a map sensor to pull timing in a forced induction application. You can also get the Interaq software and connect it to a laptop for datalogging and additional features.
That is the newest one. The gen 2 is missing a couple of those features and has a different handheld controller. But I think you can have it upgraded.

As my esteemed colleague Nick has pointed out it can control all of thee above listed. And if you have a laptop you could also upgrade to the InterAcq 4.0 software for $269 and it will do all the same fetures as the series 4 PMS, plus you can datalog and save as many programs as you want.Comment
