    Ported GT40 Y303 Heads For Sale: $350

$350 plus 1.7 Crane roller rockers included
The one head needs repair. I was hosed on ebay and got the chance to find out that the guy who ported the heads ran the wall thin where the water jacket and port meet. It filled my cylinder up with antifreeze. It can be welded I just am not brave enough to try these heads anymore. Also there was some welding on a pedestal mount (pictured) and a 1 chip on the surface (pictured) of both heads but it doesn't affect head gasket sealing. They are freshly and completly rebuilt. I only have the one off and will not be selling until I get my new heads that are allready being shipped and will be installed on my car. These should be available this Sunday. The first picture is where the water comes through, it is the dark line above the right side of the valve. Thanks for looking.

I also will have a set of Pedestal full roller rockers to sell. I have to clay the engine to see if 1.7 will work so the set will either be 1.7 ratio (crane) or 1.6 ratio (FRPP) rockers. Selling for $150 but will sell for $100 to the person that buys the heads if they would like. Thanks.

Would you be interested in trading for a set of GT40P's?

nevermind... that is not where I was thinking your leak is.... I dont think I will buy them... but I will give it some thought....

I also have some concerns with that chip... that looks like it might of had some detonation damage...

That looks to be the same cylinder that the rocker mount broke off and was rewelded back on, something let go big time in the motor that those heads used to be on before, pieces were flying...LOL

never buy heads no matter what they are off ebay

it should be a general rule of thumb i to have been burned buying a reman E7 head off ebay same with my friend bought some E5s? i think they are that had "machine work" done to them and he got them and it looked like a they used a belt sander on the gasket suface

Something let loose for sure it has a chip just like that on the other head. I took it to the local machine shop and got everything checked out on these heads as far as flatness and spring height etc. before I put them on. Never had them pressure checked. I would figure a guy would want to get that chip fixed the same time the port is being repaired.

I have no use for E7's either, what do you think I removed from my car?

Anyways I was told by the machine shop in town that these are fixable. I was told I could even try a product called Titanium putty by Devcon since the hole is so very small. The only thing they told me was to get the heads pressure tested, especially if I went the putty route. Also before I found the leak I did have the spring pressure and spring height checked out so I know that much for sure is good. Anyways, I have no idea what a company like Headwerks or etc.. charges but you would be getting fully ported aluminum heads for a good buy if the fix it bill is not to extreme. If you or anybody wants any picture of any part of the heads just ask I am being as honest as possible on these heads. Also I will be putting these up for sale on the corral, craigslist etc. by the end of the weekend I just thought I would give local guys a chance at them. Thanks.

                              Bump for new deal.
I discovered I am very busy and have not got around to advertising these anywhere. I just want them gone. For $350 I will now include 1.7 ratio Crane full roller rockers with the heads. Pictures of rr are on this board under 1.7 crane pedestal rockers for sale. Also I may be up in the Anoka area tomorrow (Sunday April 5th) to pick a washing machine up and could bring the heads along. As of now I will not seperate. Thanks
