    Misc 03 cobra parts

    Ok, motor took a dump so Im putting in a short block and will be trying to move the stock 03 short block(less than 7k miles), injectors and maf once they are pulled from car in the next couple weeks. I beleive damage is currently restricted to the pistons so block, crank, rods etc should all be fine.

    Stock 39/42lb injectors

    stock 90mm maf

    I also have the stock eaton with stock pulley, less than 2k miles on it.Will sell with or without inlet and TB.

      What is the impedence of the injectors... if Low, I'm definitely interested.

            Damn that sucks, sorry to hear about that. did you figure out why the motor took a dump? i remember seeing it at the shop a few weeks ago.

              What are you building that you would'nt want the rods or the block.
              5.1 stroker comes to mind.

              How much for the package
              Crank rods block injectors

              Sorry to hear about the motor
              Any possible reasons why it popped

                Ok, update on the list. I tore apart the eaton and sold the rotor pack out of it, that leaves me with the main housing and the snout. The housing would be good if someone were interested in having a ported blower but didnt want down time, the housing could be sent out for porting and when you get it back move over your rotorpack and snout.

                The snout would be nice for someone who wanted to swap pulleys and retain a stock untouched snout.

                The injectors are high imp, was thinking in the $250 range for the set.

                Not sure what mafs are going for is $100 out of line?

                As for the shortblock, you guessed it ron, I have a billit 302 stroker on order from VT gonna leave heads alone for now and see how it all comes together.

                On the shortblock its not out of the car yet so I am not sure of the extent of the damage. Leakdown shows cyl 5 and 7 are in rough shape. I think its just piston/ring damage, she is blowing some smoke and #7 plug fouls up pretty quick so as of right now its likely just pistons. I have a guy who has expressed some interest in the shortblock for $1000.

                As for why it failed, I think it was a culmination of bad tunes and mild detonation over time. Last year there was one tune I was running ran fine on the dyno but shuddered slightly on the street at high rpm. I did have an issue with a couple fouled plugs and assumed they were just misgapped since once replaiced car seemed to run fine. This spring I opened up the intake opath a bit with a 4" pipe and 12" filter which allowed it to get a lot more air, especially with the cooler spring temp, which simply put it outside of its tuned parameters. I got on it a bit one night and as it broke 5000rpm I got audibkle dertonation and thats all it took.

                  consider the injectors sold if you still have them if they are the old style conector. (need to use them in a GM)
