FS: GT40 heads

Finally got them removed off my old motor. Non-ported and come with crane roller rockers. Ready to bolt on if you wish. These are not the gt40P heads.

About how many miles do they have on them and on what cam? Are they the stock springs and valves?

They are off a 95 cobra. No diffrence though from 93 to 95.

Im not sure on how many miles they have on them. Im guessing maybe 30-50,000?

Stock springs and valves, these heads are untouched.

already tried selling the motor whole but people wanted either the heads or just the short block but not both.

I think $200 for the heads and $200 for the short block is alittle weak. The heads alone are work $400 from what ive seen. But tcs is know for trying to low buck everything.

Yeah it can be hard to sell stuff unless someone who knows you personally wants it. I know I tend to wonder why someone's selling and worry that they are selling their problem.

I tried to sell a complete 302 for $200 (of course it was only E7 heads, but it had the forged TRWs) and didn't even get offers. I had the motor in the car for people to hear it run and drive.

Anyway, if there are really about 50,000 miles max on the heads and valvetrain $400 is not a bad price, IMO. You can pretty easily get over $400 just in rebuilding a used set of heads. It can be harder to sell in the fall though, so you may think about waiting until spring. Good luck!
