I have a brand new set in ford box the pinion bearing that is supposed to press on but will push on snug with you hands , If you want to give them a try they might work just fine $75

I dont understand why that bearing just slides on like that. Will it cause a problem. Would you install these gears in your car?

The pinion bearing itself could be loose or the pinion could be too small.

I dont understand either it appears to be the pinion bearing being a hair under size. Honestly I went and bought a new pair but I figured some one might be willing to roll the dice for $100 bucks off I think it would be fine as I said it is snug tite but not press tight With the pinion bearing being tightened up when installed It probly would not make much of a diffrence . Iam debating on sending them back for a refund

I would try and get a refund. That way you get what you paid back.
