                    the car has a history of throwing belts, but the prior owner told me it was due to a pulley being off (ac or something). i think it would have a hard time bending these massive brackets that hold the blower in place.

                          I have the same blower setup on my car, and have only lost 1 belt in the past 8 years, and that was from a worn out idler pully.

                            even if it throws belts, it can be remedied. I shimmed my alt in a washer width and it took care of my belt throwing prob.

                            Josh is right, aint no bending a novi 1/2" aluminium bracket
