99 S351 motor forsale....

ok well i hate to do this but i have to.. up for sale is my 351w 1999 Saleen S-351, if you know anything about these cars you know how rare they are, and how rare this engine is! this one has less than 2,000 miles!!! sportsman block, forged internals, blower cam (comp cams 284hr), upper intake has been opend to 80mm, twisted wedge heads, trickflow rockers, comes with a matching BBK 80mm tb.. headers in the picture are not included! $4850 just need to pay off debt, i will not part the motor out! we made LOTS of power with it before it was pulled....

boost friendly compression... i dont know exact details. each engine of the 50 engines were built at AER Performance out of texas and were stamped with a serial number... just have to get ahold of a guy by the name of Bill Wages JR to get a fax of the built sheet

looks like a 93 cobra intake to me.. all i know is that it works, makes enough power to get just about anyone in trouble..

I'm curious to know that as well. The '99 S351 is a dream car of mine. Wasn't there like only 46 made?

we swapped the cam in the car and thats the farthest its been apart.

the car it came out of will be around soon enough im sure...

im pretty sure they made 50 between 99 and 2000 but not 100% posotive..

The numbers are a little fuzzy on production, but the 1999 run was in the mid 40's (45-46). There were never "officially" any 2000 models made, but there actually were six. Saleen had an EPA exemption for the car for the CALENDAR year of 1999, not the model year. They took six 2000 model year cars and built them in 1999. Therefore, both groups are correct. They are actually six 2000 model year cars, built in 1999 and badged under the 1999 EPA certificate. Source: Liz Sumnar at Saleen

These things are built to be bullet-proof, forged internals, huge potential. Factory (under) rated at 495 HP/TQ. Yeah, right. With no internal mods, h-pipe, CAI and some tuning, made a 4000lb+ car go 11.50@129.5 with 3.27 gears and a six speed 18" rims and street tires. That's right, without any internal mods.

Josh has a rare and EXTREMELY desirable engine here that comes with a pedigree. You CAN NOT duplicate this engine for what he is asking. CAN'T. ANYONE using this engine will be VERY fortunate.
