    AED Supercharger for Sale

My girlfriend bought the kit used about 6 months ago from a gentleman on ebay for her car. I recently bought a new block for my car but got hit with a bill much larger than I expected. Being the kick *** girlfriend that she is she has changed her mind about the blower and wants to help pay the block. (As long as I buy her a Louie Vuitton) I disagree with this decision but if I don’t help her she will sell it behind my back and probably get ripped off.

The kit is missing some brackets and a few other misc pieces. We looked into how much they would cost when we first purchased the kit and they could easily be had for about 300 bucks from AED. I can supply the list of what you will need.

Overall the kit looks to be in really good shape. The blower spins freely and has been ported. I will include my extra heat exchange, a 190lph fuel pump, smaller blower pulley (2.7"/ 7psi) and also polish up the runners. I have a bunch of misc stuff I can throw in too that will help get you going.

This kit should make over 270 rwhp and 320 rwtq on a relatively stock engine. As a testamant to what its capable of I made 311/370 on the dyno last year with my frankenstien NPI kit. Ported heads and cams will only get you farther. The low end tq is awesome.

New this kit goes for about $4000. We are looking to get $2500 and will work with you on shipping costs. I will also help install it for a reasonable price (read: beer) if you live close to central MN.

I have plenty of character references if you need. And many of the Upper Midwest Thundercat members who post here know me.

Serious buyers only. No window shopping please.

Please contact me with any questions.

The AED kit will work on any 4.6L 2V ford. I believe it was on a Mustang before we got our hands on it. We were going to put it on a 97 4.6 T bird.

This kit is NPI specific but it could easily be made to work with PI heads with a change of the runner style. (50 dollar option through AED)

You can also look over AED's website to get a better understanding of the kit. Both Thunderbird and Mustang instructions are posted there, the install is pretty much the same. I have installed this kit numerous times and it honestly isnt that bad to get on a car.

      Thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah, but you've installed it numerous times on the same car...so does that count?
