I have aluminum 6.0 out of 07 z71 complete needs lifters. 850 located in tn. Just had fresh rod bearings put in , also have brand new t3 cat turbo to go with, 700!

Did you do the ls2 front cover? or is it a stock dropout with all the DOD crap still?

My 5.3 turbo build, I'm just using crank trigger for msd n switching to 3 bolt timing for ls9 cam. Deleted dod. This 6.0 is all stock not even sure if its dod, hit did rod bearings n still sounds bad, so going with new motor, he didn't replace the lifters which were problem to start with. I lovevpeople with more $ than brains!
