87-93 rear hatch supports

Does anyone make a heavy duty rear hatch support? Bought new ones from 50resto and they didn't even last a week. Thanks for the input.

Are you talking about hatch struts? I've had good luck with the pair I got from mills fleet farm.

I bought a pair at Autozone. Just make sure the compressed length and the extended length match the original pair.

There were issues with both of the hatch and hood supports for the GM F-body's a while back and I imagine it was the same for Mustangs as well.
Not sure what to tell you but to do some searching, possibly finding out the manufacturers instead of the resellers, and then finding out which ones are worth buying. It's not easy to find out since half the people buying them don't even know they come in different lbs of force depending on the spoiler/hood option the car came with.
