    Wtb: Carb, Hat, A1000

Seeing if anyone has any of the following laying around for sale.

Need a 650 double pumper with mechanical secandaries.

Looking for a carb hat with a single inlet.

    Also need an A1000.

Lemme know if you have any of that.

Welcome to the blow thru world, find a 750 to start with and just to warn you its easy to get carried away with it and spend alot of money on even a home built. After doing it myself now I suggest buying a used csu.

Just trying to save you the headache im dealing with now. You'll spend 150ish on a crappy carb and replace gaskets, floats, needle&seats, and so on you'll have 250-300 into a very basic bt carb that you will still have to make work. Or just spend 5-700 on used known working csu bolt on and drive. I thought I could copy a csu for a reasonable price and I started regretting that decision long ago.

So sell me your carb and buy a CSU?

Either way, I'm just trying to get this junk on the road. Ive been without a running car going on 3 years now and just want to throw something together to get the car back the road and not be slower than the last setup.

$550 its yours... I got quite carried away. Its a proform mainbody with billet annular boosters been bead blasted and painted black. The metering blocks have the pvcr's drilled to 5/64 to start with they've been epoxied and polished(I may still drill out the mainwells and cross feed holes). Its got a 50cc front pump also polished with chrome fuel bowls. I sealed the throttle shafts and all the steel linkage I bead blasted and did a black oxide treatment on them. Its still at the carb shop getting the boosters installed though then its done.

Were you running pump or e85 with it. I'm looking to go e85 and would actually consider buying it. Did you ever try vent tube extensions on it?

I have never even run it yet the needle & seats and boosters are for e85 the only thing I would do is drill out the mainwells and cross feed holes to make it a true e85 carb. Still haven't done that since I may try running gas first. It has the short vent tubes in it right now that come in the proform mainbody. I have bluchevs csu on my car now and have been copying it, but it will be a normal pv front and rear blocked per the hangar18 mod.

I'll get back to you tommorow but I'll probably take it. Basically a baller version of what I was going to build, so it'd make sense to purchase.

Sounds good like I said its still at the carb shop. He's assembling the throttle shafts and installing the boosters and flow testing it to get the air bleeds sized accordingly to the new boosters, should be done tomorrow or friday hopefully.
