8.8 IRS aluminum 3rd member w/ 3.55 posi 28 spline $375

I'm going to swap out the 3.55 unit for the 3.08 geared unit I have. It is the aluminum housing from a MK VIII. It's the unit currently in my Shelby Charger. Because my car has such a small size tire, the 3.08 gears will work better for me. I'll pull the unit out of the car if seriously interested now or I will be in as soon as I get the rear cover for the 3.08 unit welded. Upull always has to use an air hammer and just punch a hole to drain it so the hole in the cover is being welded right now. As soon as my buddy is done with it I'll pull the 3.55's out of my car(hopefully this weekend). This will be a complete ready to run aluminum 8.8 IRS unit. Cash or ifyou can do upholstery we can work out a deal- trade&some cash(because I know getting my seats redone is worth double that) so let me know.

It originally came from a lincoln MkVIII. So I know it'll work in the 89-94 tbird,cougar. I don't know about fitting the Mustang irs.

89-97 Cougar/Thunderbird, 93-98 Mark VIII, and 99 Cobras...01 & 03/04 Cobras had 31 spline diffs
