Im doing a working/driving resto on a completely unmolested 1986 LX 5.0 vert. Anything that comes off the car and doesnt go back on is garbage....past saving. It has a scrap factory exhaust on it. Its complete trash from the header collectors back. And as I dont have a line on another exhaust yet, and I hate when people put their 2 cents in my threads to criticize someone else who hasnt even said that they could deliver for sure....Im patient and will wait to see if you can make your deal happen.

that's cool that's my plan also I found a 86 GT in the cities and it looks like it came out of a barn (surface rust everywhere on the car) lol it has 108,000 miles and a fresh rebuilt 5.0L- I plan to swap all the 86 parts to my clean 93 shell and up grade it as it goes back together

I was planning on scraping the cats/exhaust as I'm going to go aftermarket catless exhaust with the new shell.. so I will be in touch for sure either way to let ya know what's going on..

no one bought that yet? LOL 3" is a bit big for a stock car.. that is a deal but IF I get the car I'll let you know.. that is if someone that already called dibs on it doesn't get it first..

Thanks for bringing that thread out but, these are neither stock, nor are they LX style. Im also not looking to spend $200.00 on this stuff. This car will be a lightly restored, all stock driver....but a very nice CORRECT one. : )

FYI you'll need to change the mufflers on that system it has cherry bombs at the moment

I think the link was directed at me as I'll be buying a aftermarket system for that car
