If you've ever seen a clutch come uncunted and blow a guys foot, or leg off you wouldn't be laughing. It's not like blowing an engine, clutched tear shit up when they break and you really want to keep all the parts in the can.

I have an aluminum one. It's been in the 9's and I should charge more due to its pedigree, but $50 and its yours.

I've seen enough of that kind of thing live back in the 70's the rules were loose and aluminum was light, bad combination. All you really have to do is look at the placement of your feet/legs and the flywheel to know it's stupid to risk it.
