For your consideration,
I own a 1995 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. It has a 347 ci stroker motor backed by an AODE transmission and an 8.8 rear with 3.73 gears. The car itself is "under construction". I am about 80% done with a complete body and paint restoration. Almost everything is in primer and ready to paint. I have all of the parts for the actual car body. The seats and carpet are no longer available. The driveline on the other hand is complete. The rear end is stock except for the gears, and the transmission has a shift kit and a custom built, billet torque converter, made specifically for this combination. The converter was purchased from performance driveline in coon rapids for about $950. It would be nice to sell the motor and car all together but I may just sell the motor and trans separately and part out the rest of the car if I get a good offer. The motor has a total of 20 minutes of run time. I ran the motor for 20 minutes at 2000 RPM for a cam break in. I know the hyd. roller cams may not need a break in but it is better to be safe than sorry. I never intended to sell it so I made sure that everything was done correctly. The motor was built in a clean room with the best hardware and everything was torqued to spec. Here is a breakdown of the motor. It has a 9.5 compression ratio. There is about $5,700 in parts in the motor.
-Stock hyd. roller block, professionally machined, deburred and painted.
-Scat forged crank
-Scat forged H-Beam rods
-Clevite H-series bearings
-JE SRP forged, dished aluminum pistons
-AFR 185cc heads
-Custom ground ISKY cam
-Trick Flow Track Heat intake
-Aftermarket fuel rails and braided fuel lines
-39lb Ford injectors
-Ford racing double roller timing chain
-Crane cams pedestal mount roller rocker arms, 1.7 ratio
-Comp cams pushrods, measured for correct valve train geometry
-C&L MAF
-75mm throttle body
-Ford racing hyd. roller lifters
-Stock distributor
-Probably other things I am forgetting at the moment.
Feel free to make an offer. If you want to come by and see the car just e-mail or give me a call. Call for specific details.
