Looking for a 50cc Accelerator pump for holley 4150

Looking for a 50cc Accelerator pump for holley 4150 to borrow and possibly purchase, trying to figure out if i need more pump shot to get a better transition and the pumps i have now are 30cc.

Anybody got one or two i could use?

    Thanks

whose carb do you have? You may need to drill out the metering blocks and add restrictors to add/remove more fuel. If it is still lean with the air bleeds taken out, then thats the option you need to do. Otherwise buy fully adjustable metering blocks that have the options to add more fuel.

I'll check my toolbox and work and let you know if I still have one.

Jim its a CSU E85 750 blow thru with 4 corner idle, if you mash the throttle it falls on its face and the wideband goes waaay lean. I was told to try a bigger pump/squirters to help the transition.

It never had this problem with the previous engine which had 10-1, a good sized cam and good heads

Try talking to wizard his carb is just a standard mighty demon he's done all the work to it. Instead if just punching it try rolling into boost slower see if its the quick transition its having problems with.

Just rolling into the throttle it works flawlessly, only falls on its face when you stab it.

Ok yeah that does sound like the pumps. Put it on the transbrake build boost to 20 and launch then you are past the transition problem solved.

I doubt you need a 50. 30s are fine for the vast majority of motors. I had the same problem with mine. I cured mine by changing the pump cams. The cams effect the timing of the shoot delivered. I had mine completely resolved in a 30 minutes. I'm using the green cam. I also went up and down on the squirter sizes and to a 50cc pump to no avail. Holley has a graph that helps a little on the cam timing/delivery. There is a FAR better one I found on a Ford site that I printed out that quantifies how much is given and when. It's what I used to get rid of mine. I'll see if I can find it.

I know I have one on a spread bore. They used the 50 cc on the secondaries. May have one on a 500 two barrel. I also have many cams. You can borrow them for testing. Worst case it costs you a diaphragm. Depending on how it is set up they will squirt longer instead of a bigger burst.

try an orange cam, ive had good luck with them.

ive got tons and tons of holley parts. since i went fuel injected. ill see what i got. over 500 jets also, most kits arent opened.

do you have jet extensions? ive had the same problem and all the fuel went to the back of the bowls and missed the jets. put jet extensions in and it went away.
