Just want something decently running, the more complete the better, especially front dress and brackets. I know it is a long shot, but what the heck.

Anyone got a 455 laying around?

I am unaware of the differences, but if it does, I would prefer a olds. If it is comlete and running, will have the same motor mount locations and bolts up to a TH400, I dont care what brand it originates out of.Originally posted by 68GTO View PostPontiac, Buick and Olds all produced 455 engines.Originally posted by HackWhy spend all that money just to get a worn out copy of a small block Ford? We can take the one we got and rebuild it too, so thanks but nothx. I was just hoping for a running drop in something or other to replace the one we have that has a cracked head, had overheated, but otherwise seems fine. If we have to rebuild one, the one that is in there will get the nod.Originally posted by taank View PostIt's a Buick. In igh sitting outside under a semi trailer.
