Feeler: Springfield XD Service .40 possible trade

I have a Springfield XD Service (4 inch) .40 caliber in OD Green. I bought this last year in June and love the .40 caliber round, but my wife has a 9mm and then I won a 9mm pistol, and it would be nice to only have one ammo to find. So I'm looking for possible sale or trade. I love this gun so I don't have to sell it, but I'm considering it or trades. It has about 300-400 flawless rounds down the chamber. It comes with all the XD Gear. I'll throw in 100-150 ($30-45 at Walmart if you can find it) rounds of ammo too. Must be 21, and prefer someone that has a permit to carry or purchase. This gun sells for $550 plus tax at Cabela's and Gander Mountain.

$475 for the Gun, the gear, and the ammo.

As for trades I am open to 9mm guns, maybe a .45 for the right gun. NO GLOCKS. Like I said this is a feeler so gun and money offers welcome.

Thanks. Its a great gun, just considering alternatives since I have a XD Service 9mm, a XD Service .40, and a XD Sub compact 9mm. I can see the difference between the Sub compact and my service but the .40 is just not getting used like it should.

Yes, the Ammo does add to the value of your gun, and yes the FFL add to the price of the new gun.

Coming telling people that my price was too much was kinda lame. I may have over reacted but I don't like people shitting on my threads. I can understand your resentment, but it's not shitting on your ad. He made an accurate and legitimate point. This is an open forum and a potential buyer appreciates others pointing out something like this. You're not a sponsor paying for the privilege to sell goods here with a one sided take on things. Besides, if I were seriously considering it, I would have done a search as well for the cheapest I could get it new. Then, I would probably have passed it by without considering the point you just made.

PS If this is all off the books, you do realize the gun is still in your name right? My uncle owns a lot of guns, including a number of fully automatic stuff which is has proper permits for, etc in WI.
