I'm Selling my ChassiEAR tool due to the fact that I have now become quite proficient on finding and locating random noises within a vehicle. This chassiEAR is suppurb for finding wheel bearing noises, belt drive noises and suspension noises.
What you do is grab one of the 4 transmitters (look like walkie talkies) and bite onto a part of interest using the supplied alligator clip. then grab a second transmitter and clip it onto the opposite side part for "reference" and grab the speaker and go drive. On the speaker you can switch between the 2 transmitters and compare the noises. For example a good wheel bearing would sound smooth and pitch would be quite and the bad one would sound like a diesel accelerating.
Like I said I simply don't use it anymore because I have an ear for the noises now. This is PERFECT for do it yourselfers, so you can fix it right the first time
They sell for over $400 but I will sell it for $350 and its less than a year old
