what they're asking for new cards these days is pretty cheap, I would swing in there and see what you can get with the deals. AGP cards are on their way out so they're not all that expensive anymore. if you're looking for a gaming card, check them out.

Cool, I am assuming I need a 350w power supply too? I am pretty terrible at this, and your help is mucho appreciated.

            Thanks!

350 watt power supply is roughly 50$ for a decent setup. make sure you know how many pin your motherboard power supply is.

Newegg has Nice AGP cards for roughly

ATi Radeon x1600 pro's for 140ish. While not PCI X it is still a very nice card.

PS- 350W hipro From nanosystems for $30.

I will sell you this one for $25.

The only reason I stopped using it was I needed a DVI-D Dual Link card for my 30" monitor.

Otherwise I would have kept using it till I built my new PC.

I put in a GEForce 7600 GS AGP 8x with 256 mb. Runs everything pretty good. AGP is kinda funny. It's getting more expensive then the pci-e or whatever it's called.

Watch the power supplies. Some are bigger then others and won't fit.
