As some of you know, last year I sold a lof of 50cc Pocket Bikes to friends and club members. Well, I just got back from the trade show in Vegas and I'm at it again. I found two bikes I was very interested in and figured there would be some interest among the car group. Here's the info...
The pocket bikes I got this year are the brand new 50cc LIQUID cooled models, hot off the press. These baby's are said to go upwards of 60mph with the new motors, the last ones did about 30 and felt quite fast so these should be crazy. Also, these are built a lot better than the last ones, especially in the frame. As you can see in the pics the frame is one solid piece with the swingarm bolting up to it as oppose to the last ones that were tubing with shitty welds, none of them broke but these are just nicer. Also, like last years these have front and rear discs, except these have twin discs up front as oppose to one. The overall quality just seems to be a little higher in these.
Last year I sold the slower air cooled bikes for $450 and went through quite a few, these new bikes I am selling for $500 as they cost me significantly more. This is a very good price though, check ebay and you'll see this is less then prettymuch everything there after the ridiculous shipping costs. Also I am able to get parts and I check every unit to make sure it's working fine before they are sold. Here's a couple pics:
Now for the second item, which I can't WAIT to ride. These are the absolute best SDG replicas I've seen (Speed Defies Gravity, basically modified XR50's with big suspension, stroker motors, etc etc) These bikes are about the same frame as an XR50, however they are waaaay modded right out of the box. Upside down front forks, jacked up suspension, front and rear discs, annodized wheels, extended swingarm, AND a 4 speed 125 4 stroke in a 50 chassis! These things are gonna be damn quick, and a blast.
A bone stock XR50 goes for about $1300 and an SDG goes over $2k, I am selling these for $790 which again is a great price. The much shittier 110cc, crappy suspension models go for more than that on ebay, these I can't even find yet on there. Some pics:
