If you look closer under the standard speaker outputs there are outputs for two other speakers which can be used for a second zone or rear speakers.Originally posted by Akromix View PostThe pic of the outputs show this as well.

Yes those are speakers b. I don't think you can run a and b at the same time.Originally posted by OhMannClint View PostIf you look closer under the standard speaker outputs there are outputs for two other speakers which can be used for a second zone or rear speakers.god damned tinypic.

Off of pioneers website.Originally posted by Fernanernie View PostOdd, Pioneer even lists it on its website as a 5.1
And when you are ready to watch a Blu-ray Disc movie, get ready to experience only the highest quality audio in existence today with DTS-HD ® and Dolby ® TrueHD decoding, delivering up to 7.1 channels of surround sound at 96 kHz/24-bit high-resolution.
I did see that the pioneer list it as a 5.1 which is weird because it defently has 7 speaker outputs and dual zones. My guess is bacause only the main 5 channels are 110 watt

What I qouted was directly off of pioneers website as the discription for this receiver. How am I misleading or covering up anything? It has 7 speakers outputs and a subwoofer output making this receiver 7.1. Is there anyway I can make this any more simple so your small brain canOriginally posted by NOTNSSScumbag Clint trying to cover up the fact that he's misleading potential buyers. Change the ad title, it's not a true 7.1 receiver.
comprehend that you are wrong?
My new denon has the exact same set up and is labeled as a 7.1, Denon as a whole must be scumbags too then?Last edited by OhMannClint; 03-31-2013, 04:34 PM.

That is a 5.1 receiver. Even if you have the A & B channels on at the same time, you will not have true 7.1 audio. The B channels will only be duplicating what the A speakers are outputting. A true 7.1 will have 7 separate channels and no sounds duplicating.
Pioneer lists it as a 5 channel receiver, http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...ers/VSX-819H-K , because that is what it is.

This is my new receiver http://usa.denon.com/us/product/page...2313ci(denonna)
It also has zones one and two but is labeled as a 7.2 as it is. Should I go return it and bitch because it is actually 5.2?

Doesn't matter what some random blurb you pulled off the site says. Its a 5.1 receiver, is listed all over pioneer's website as 5.1, every other A/V distribuitors website's as 5.1, and has 5 110W channels.Originally posted by OhMannClint View Postdelivering up to 7.1 channels of surround sound
Questions?
Also, the way the Denon AVR 2313CI's multi zone feature works is if you want to run two separate zones it pulls 2 channels for the second zone, giving you the 5 channels in one zone and 2 in the second. IF you wanted to utilize the 7 channels in zone 1 while running a second zone you would have to hook up a second amp to the zone two pre amp out.
Take a look at a pioneer 7.1 receiver with multi zone capability. It will have 7 channels and a set of B speakers for zone 2 (for a total of 9 speaker hookups). Denon and Pioneer just do it differently.
The receiver you're selling is a 5 channel receiver, sorry.
