Small Boat Trailer - $20 or trade for a 4pk of Surly

Small boat trailer for sale. It will work for a light boat 12-14 feet in length. It's homemade, origin unknown, made out of angle iron and is very heavy for it size. It's real ugly with surface rust and 12" wheels and bearings off an old Honda or some small foreign car with an odd bolt pattern. The bearings seemed fine last spring, so I repacked them with grease and towed it all over the Twin Cities all spring, summer, and fall of last year without issue. Would I take off for LOTW with it...probably not. It has a winch but will need a new strap or rope. It doesn't have any fenders. The lights work (except the side marker lights), however they are cracked and should be replaced. The tires were new in April '12 and are in good shape. The thing is lifetime licensed. The boat in the trailer in the pic is 13'6" long.

It's in Cottage Grove right now. Offering it up, otherwise I'm taking it to be scrapped on Saturday 3/31.

    Thanks,

    Brian.

This is the trailer I used to push my boat to Oaky the one time I took it there last year. It was a sweatfest but once I had the boat balanced on the trailer so there was no zero weight, it wasn't bad. In my opinion....would be quite a load for a bicycle.

              Canoes go in Oaky!

Gato wrangler, I think this thing would require some mods to make it work with a canoe. It's pretty wide. Also, I don't think I put enough emphasis in my original post on how heavy it is. You know the saying "she ain't a lady if she ain't 280". I would say this one is pretty close to being a lady.

A real nice feller called me a short time ago and laid claim to this fine piece of machinery. Said he was referred by a member of this site, so thanks to whoever forwarded this along.
