St.Croix Musky Rod and Shimano Calcutta reel

Hey guys I have a St. Croix 6'9" heavy power rod its from the Avid line. That is the best rod you can buy from St. Croix. It has titanium nitride guides that will last forever. Most braided lines required for musky hunting will wear a groove in the guides over time, these guides will never wear. Also I have a Shimano calcutta 400 te reel. This is the best reel you can buy hands down. It has the magnetic brake system to control bail spin so you never get backlash and tangle. It has been used about three fishing trips and the rest of the time it just rode in the boat while I walleye fished. I paid over 1200 for this combo new and im asking only 300. I just dont ever use it and I am cleaning out to make money for a supercharger for my 93 cobra You could buy this for 300 and put it on craigslist and sell it for more if you were patient. Call me direct at 612 850 0775 my name is Ryan. Thanks.

The blank was custom ordered from St Croix cut and measured for my height and arm length for a 1-5 ounce lure running braided line up to 40 lbs. The Eyelets were hand dipped in titanium nitride and the end eyelet tripple dipped. The handle and forearm bump was not bullshit south bend cork It was African cork rare softest and most durable cork there is. Bottom of rod tripple carbon wrapped as well as center of spine......and thats just the rod and im just getting started.....You can buy garbage or the best....do a little research chach and you would know 1200 aint shit for a rod and reel....Halibut, Marlin and Grouper rigs can run over $3500.....Better to remain quiet and be thought a fool than to open ones mouth and prove it.....

I bet, sounds like a hell of a deal. I always see huge muskies being taken on Vermilion during deer opener. Looks like a lot of fun.

Oh I bet october is like a feeding frenzy fish can put on ten pounds in thirty days.....and musky is the only freshwater game fish that has been shown to kill fish and for fun not for food. Like a cat kills a mouse and plays with it Muskies will kill a bass or walleye or bite a smaller northern in half and not eat a single scale off the fish.......Apex predators are cool

The owner of Vermilion Dam Lodge puts up a fishing report every so often, doesn't look like he updated all winter but some cool pics from last fall.

Oh gawd...here we go. You're fuckin crazy then because I have a 9' custom done from Thornes(on a much better blank than an Avid) for around $375 and I didn't bother wasting my money on SiC guides or custom length for my height(whatever the fuck that is) because you just don't need unnecessary options on a Muskie rod. In fact it's funny that you'd bring up the word research with me because you just happen to be talking to a guy whos probably done more research on high-end fishing gear, both saltwater and freshwater than all the guys on this board put together. All I was saying is you overpaid for unnecessary stuff on that rod. you do realize TE 400's cost $369 which would mean you paid over $800 for a Muskie rod. MOST EXPENSIVE MUSKIE ROD EVER! BTW, Avid blanks are St Croix's MIDDLE OF THE ROAD rod blank. Do your research.

What the fuck has TCS come too that people are arguing about fucking fishing poles. Dude sold it, dude who bought is happy. For fucks sake, who care if its the best of the best, hand dipped and dragged through a hookers twat. Someone wanted to sell, someone wanted to buy.
