Do want. How would someone go about transporting arnold? What kind of maintenance does the tank require?

We could just drain the tank down to an inch or two of water, so it would be light enough to carry. Arnold is tough and turtles have lungs so really there wouldn't need to be any water for the hour and a half trip.

There is little maintenance evolved with the tank, switch/rinse out the filter every couple of weeks and make sure there isn't any extra uneaten food in the tank (which cause bacteria to bloom), this usually isn't an issue with this badass turtle.

Let me know, otherwise I am headed back to the wild this spring.

Arnold is very interactive and aggressive I'd be willing to battle him with any other tank going creature

that is the meanest turtle I have ever seen. He attacks anything you put in the tank or near it. If he were big enough he would gladly kill you.

No he never was a wild turtle, I have had him for 3 years, before that an old roommate had gotten Arnold from his high school science class. He was the size of a half dollar when I got him.

If you were just to feed them normal turtle food from when it was very small I think he would be a little less aggressive. Ever since I got him I've been feeding him pinky mice, steak/chicken scraps. Once he got the taste for blood there was no turning back.

How much does this guy need to eat each day?

I feed him a couple scraps of raw meat once a week or so. Depends on what I am making for dinner....

You can buy the tank and turtle and then have the pleasure of letting him go yourself. Setting yourself at ease..... knowing you've saved a turtle from the inhumane confinement of a tank.
