If nobody buys them, I'll probably pull the engine. I want the 351 out of the 1983 for sure, it wouldn't take much to pull the y-block.

There cool old motors. I had a 61 F-250 4x4 with a 292 when I was in high school. Lots of torque and got pretty good mileage.

Those unibodys are kinda neat not the most charming ford truck but unique is the word

At one point the plan was to make and extended cab.
The way those bodies are made, the back of the cab is spot welded into the front of the bed. So if you were to cut the roof (the hard part) and drill out the welds, you could just slide the back of the cab back until you got to the rear wheel wells. Weld it back in and fill in the roof. The floor of the cab below the seat is also the same height as the bed. It would take some work, but would be a one of a kind truck when finished.
