pics! For whatever reason I can now use attachments. If the moderator had something to do with that, thank you! Hopefully my buddy will be done welding up the elbow/carb adapter this week. The carb will sit at the end of the head where the smog pump used to be stuck running off the back end of the head.

          Problems I forsee:

          1) May not fit in engine bay.
          2) 1982...not sure if they ran a serp belt.
          3) Pulley is not is the correct place.,,or is it?
          4) Intake tract on the chrysler is not enough for the forced induction.

          I wish you luck.

Yes, there's much to do to get it working. I'm running a short serp belt from the supercharger to a modified pulley on the power steering pump that I've added a serp pulley onto it. Yes the carb will sit below the hood, the elbow angles down and forward from the back of the supercharger. As far as the intake goes, the ones offered with the Original B&M Direct Connection supercharger kit really didn't have and larger runners. They were just a little straighter. The supercharger is actually shorter than the original carb/ air cleaner assembly.

For those wondering how the carb will fit under the hood here's some pics of how it's going. Also to show you how I'm setting up the pulley. I'll get the serpentine pulley welded to the inside of the power steering pump pulley and then I'll set up some type of tensioner. I told you I'd figure out how to make it fit under the hood.

I'd think twice before mounting the carb lower than the blower. Could be some fuel puddling making for serious problems in the case of a backfire.

I'm not running a giant carb so I should be able to keep the intake charge velocity acceptable to prevent any real issues. If it does present a problem I suppose I'll go with some sort of side draft setup. Any suggestions on a side draft? I've never dealt with one of those. Besides, this isn't the first car with the carb mounted lower than some part of the intake system. Remember the early to mid 60's cross ram 413 Dodge/Plymouths? Granted they weren't mounted that low, but it did have an arc to the runners because the carbs were sitting past the outside of the valve covers. I suppose I should hook up the coolant lines to the carb base so It helps keep it at a decent temp for warmup purposes.

Wellllll, Not in those words but yeah I guess so. I talked to a couple of other folks about it if it would be an issue. They all agreed it's not a problem.
