Having been in a 255 car I can say definitively that they do not rev quick.

I had a 255... there isnt much that is slower... a 93 2.3l mustang vert might be slower but not by much.

don't forget the auto tranny in that combination of 4 banger

my notch was originally a 2.3 auto. probably the slowest vehicle i've driven, and i've driven bigger diesel trucks.
