    Wtb 68-70 Amx

Just asking all you good folks to keep your eyes peeled for me please. I'm officially putting the word out that I'm in the market for an AMX. Prefer 1970, but considering 68's and 69's also. I'm not looking for pieces that I need to put back together or any "just needs a motor/transmission/rear end" cars. Must be turnkey/road worthy and must be locally available to look at and drive or will go within a couple of hours drive to look at one. Can spend up to around $7k or would "consider" trading my 89 Formula. I am unable to "do a deal" until mid April due to storage issues.

One question Scott, WHY? would you want an AMX? Anyways i think Jim Hall has one he's selling.
Buying muscle/sports cars/regular cars/trucks, send me info, I pay cash or credit card if that makes you feel better!

Jim would NEVER give up that AMX. That was his dad's racecar. I want one because a good friend of mine had a 70 back in 73. I always liked the lines of that car. My main reason, though, is that I'm tired of driving a car that you see hundreds of on the street. I want something more "unique." I'm also looking at 66-70 AMC Rebels (one in particular from 1970 called "The Machine").
