    WTB: 49-54 coupe

    I know this a longshot but I thought I'd post it here for the hell of it:

    I am looking to get a 49-54 Ford, Chevy or other make project car. I would really like to get a 2 dr coupe. If it is already chopped and/or subframed with all body work done that is a big plus. Shoot me an email if you know of anything.

    Call Midwest customs in Glencoe there is a 49 chev sitting there 2dr and its been there awhile and the owner might sell it 320 864 8088 ask for Brian tell him Lee sent you

      My old youth pastor has a 49 chev that he has built up, chopped, slammed, and fabbed a new grille, trunklid and painted some wicked flames on it. He swapped in a 289 with an auto tranny, and just recently rebuilt the carb. He is lookin at lettin it go, I can hook you up with his number if you want.

        Hey guys thanks for the replies. 2000 Roush, I'll definitely give him a call. Have you seen the car, is it chopped at all or anything else modified that you can see?

        MisterCMK, is his chev completely finished or still a work in progress? (hopefully a work in progress) Find out if he's in the mood to sell and any specs on the car you can (price, etc).

          Its pretty much finished, a wicked red paintjob with some nice flames, and the interior is alomst done. However, the drivetrain and suspension could still use work, IE rebuild. He has been talkin about selling it to start a new project.

            Cool man. If you can, find out a ballpark figure for what he wants. I was hoping to finish off a project, but depending on price it may work out. thanks again

                He's thinkin of 12k, but thats with the car finished. PM me if you want more infor, I can tell you a little about the car, and give you his number to talk to him about it.
