I'm testing the waters for trusty Neon. It's a green '95 4-door sport. It's a SOHC with a 5-speed; 149,000 miles (I have an 80-mile per day commute). It has paint coming off the hood, a dented fender, and a little rust starting on the inside of the driver's door. The cruise and headlights don't work, and the A/C needs a recharge. The timing belt, head gasket, and water pump were done at about 80,000 miles. It has a long-tube header, 2.5-inch exhaust, underdrive pulley, stiffer motor mounts, cold-air intake, ported intake and throttle body, Mopar Performance computer, strut tower braces, lowering springs, KYB struts, an upgraded fuel pump, Kenwood Excelron CD deck, Infinity Kappa's in the front doors and Infinity reference's in the rear deck. I ran 4 bottles of nitrous through the car (35 and 50 shots) in '03 (about 100,000 to 110,000 miles). It uses little or no oil, but the idle wanders because of a vacuum leak that I probably caused when I changed the starter last fall. Oil is changed religously every 3,000 miles with Mobil 1. It gets 32+ mpg on the highway.
Anyway, does this sound like something anyone would want? I don't think I want to have 3 cars and still live in an apartment.
