FS: 1988 Saleen Mustang "One of a Kind"

My father is selling his all original Saleen convertible mustang only because he needs to pay for a surgery. He's had this car sense 2000 we have documentation saying this is a one of a kind car. It only has just over 42,XXX miles on it..The interior just needs new skins, the leather is just aged and cracked....not from wear, as you can see in the pictures i am selling the car for $$15,000...And that is what it was appraised for back in 2001" and 12 years later in the same shape now as it was then' But now worth $25,000 And even more if you envest into new skins and other little tinkering...I dont want any low ballers or tire kickers that will rip on the car because they wish they could afford it??? because i know what this car is actually worth. And i will only sell to a respectable collector that knows the extreme rarity of this one of a kind saleen!...I dont mean to sound too rude. And the reason for that is because some of the replies i have gotten have been from some very under "Edge"A"ma"Kated individuals....Lol ...And i would very much like too thank all of the very educated ones that new what the car is worth and its extreme rarity. My fathers name is Rick and my name is brady. My father rewrote the post and if your interested please contact me at via email for any questions or information on the car, and leave a phone number.. But only if your interested...

    My email is bradynoggle@gmail.com

Basically, he's right. Put it on a Saleen forum. I'm sure you'd have better luck there. I'd be surprised if someone paid over 5-6k for this. No offense. Just being realistic.

well if you cant afford it don't bother posting buddy
it was appraised for $15,000 back in 2000 and its worth more now.
And a Saleen is the one of the highest valued mustangs next to the Shelby
also this is a one of a kind car, so that will bump up the price

people think there are a million saleen collectors, make it a 93 cobra and you'd get close to 15k

I would bet this car brings 9,800 cash. I can appraise anything at any price. My father is a certified appraiser so I know the game its a joke, Put the car on every website you can find for 90 days then auction it off. you'll get the real value

Love the add, NEED GONE sounds like he's holding out for top value

According to your original post your father has owned it since 2001., So did the previous owner tell you what it was appraised for since that was done before you owned it? I'm not sure I would have believed it. Certainly a nice car but $15k is a stretch, a very long one...

How is it one of a kind? I know of a true one of a kind Saleen fox that was imported from Germany. That's a one of a kind car.
                god damned tinypic.

That car if miles are right and its that clean should be worth asking but that leather is gonna kill it, plus no one around here is gonna spend that money on any fox, advertise it nationally.
Buying muscle/sports cars/regular cars/trucks, send me info, I pay cash or credit card if that makes you feel better!

I was going to say the same spend $1000 with the interior guy on here and I'd say that's a fair asking price.
