Cheap 91 Supercoupe 5 speed Parts car/Resto Project

So while on my daily rounds for work today I found a Super Coupe Thunderbird sitting in a driveway. The owner happened to wander out while I was working on his gas meter and I asked him about it and what he wanted for it, so figure I'd pass it on in case anyone needs a parts car or a rough project.

I snapped a couple pictures of it that I'll post in the next day or two when my phone decides to work again.

Its a silver 91 Super Coupe. He says it has a blown head gasket. Also, the hood is caved in and the front bumper cover is fucked. He said he hit some lady with it and the top of the core support was pushed in a little, but doesn't look like it would need replacement, just bend it back. Underhood looked very complete, minus an aftermarket electric fan. Windshield is broken, but covered from the elements. Has the SC wheels. Complete red leather interior. Has a little rust in half way up in front of pass wheel opening on the rear passenger side, and has a dent the size of a dollar bill on the drivers door. Has all the ground effects, minus the front bumper. Said the electronic ride control still works.

He said he has a title but no keys. He said he wanted $700 for the car, but I'm fairly certain he'd take $500. If anyone has any interest in it I will get his number and post it on here. I'll get pictures up in the next day or two.

ive owned two and do like them, headgaskets are easy on these cars but with rust and body damage it will be tough to get any kind of money for it

Thats why I figured that someone could use it for a parts car for one they're putting back together. I would think that someone out there looking for one of these for parts might be willing to pay $500 for a parts car

I sent the pictures and the link to someone, so I'm just waiting to hear back from them.

Awesome. Would like to see someone get some good parts out of that old hulk rather than letting it rot away.
