We had everyone at the Tri-State Raceway event wanting to run one more O/C race before the season draws to a close....
So, there will be one more ELIMN8U.COM Open Comp Race this year at Cedar Falls Raceway on October 16, 2004...there is also a bracket race the next day (Oct. 17) so those that want to make weekend of it are more than welcome!!

We've always run our best et's and mph's at CFR in October...I' sure you'll be well into the 10 second zone by then my friend!!

We're planning another grill-out after the races are done...Scott A. is bringing his big grille and I'm bringing the first batch of burgers, if everyone coming down would bring something as well we can have a true racers feast!!!

They will also be filming an episode of SpeedVisions show "PINKS" this weeknd and there will be a regular bracket race on the 17th for those wanting to stick around for some more racing on Sunday.

Yeah and stickers.....lots of them. I have heard they are worth atleast 10 hp per sticker. Watch out!

I'm hoping to have my car back together for this last hoorah in Oct. I ran at the end of August and was very disappointed. Also had a problem with my aluminum flywheel, so right now the engine is on a stand in the garage as a shortblock and I am currently emailing Ed Curtis about a cam to help get me where I should be. Are you using titanium retainers and what lifters are you using?

I am using the Crane vertical link hydraulic lifters in my setup. Ed setup the retainers. Not sure if they are the ones that come stock on the AFR 225's or if they are another thing he used. I am betting they are the stock ones. Hope to see you there.

Nope, some suspension mods. If they work like everyone says then no more 11.0 time slips and I should be in the 10's.
