we're not trying to offend you or draw people away from the show. for me this is the last free weekend before i go back to school and i want to make it to the track at least once this year before i have to pinch pennys at school. i went to your show last year and had a great time. i would recommend to anyone not going with us to go to the show, it's definatly worth it.Originally posted by DNeinstadtComment

oh and d9, sorry dude, i'm not trying to steal but i feel like anyone who's gunna be going would just be the same people i see at porkeys, so i would much rather have a cedar falls event and if brian can make it with his 91 done then i'd be happy, especially if my cars ready by then.

Yeah, cus there aren't ANY more Cedar Falls days, and Mods and Rods is EVERY weekend. BS dude, there has been plenty of time to get to the track this year.
I'm not pissed, I just get dissapointed to see all my hard work and none of the club signs up to defend the trophy. I work my ass of for this show. It just sucks ya know?

well, i woulda gone to a previous cedar falls event if A: my clutch didnt die B: my clutch hydraulics didnt die C: work schedule and track schedule didnt conflict inbetween.

I would have made Mods and Rods on a day when your schedule didn't have a conflict if I would have known your clutch would di and your hydraulics didn't die.
I wouldn't have a problem with you goin to the track and posting it all up if you weren't always saying "Who's going to the silly Mods and Rods show and who's going KICKASS RACING?!", trying to draw people away from something I've worked my ASS off for. Seriously, you're on like 5 forums asking the same question. Just a little bit frustrating to me that you're trying to deter people away from something that happens once a year for something that is CONVENIENT for you.

most the people who are going to cedar falls werent gunna go to mods and rods anyways, its not an attack on you it just so happened that this was the weekend when i could do it and brian could do it and when i posted it up punch immediately got on me and locked my posts, so i figured we could see who's going to mods and rods and who is going to the track, not trying to promote it just saying i would be going to the track and trying to let others know so they can decide, i dont want to destroy an event for you that you've worked so hard for but a lot of the people i talked to were going to the BIR nationals anyways.
